This place is it! We've been looking for a good Icey place for a while and we've found just that. Paul and his daughter are as nice as can be. These Italian ices are worth the hour drive. They have so many flavors, but sour sop, passionfruit and my new fave Swedish fish are where it's at. 10 out of 10 recommend.

Delicious Italian ices exactly like the ones I grew up enjoying in the Bronx & Queens! Penny Lane is the real deal! 🥰 The setting is cozy, clean, & family-friendly. The staff is friendly, professional, and provides excellent customer service, while serving up THE BEST Italian ices in the area at a very fair price. We will be sure to return again & again!

Genuinely one of my favorite places to grab a cold treat. The flavors are always changing, the staff are always friendly and helpful with suggestions, and it’s just SO good. You can mix any flavor you want together, and you can really never go wrong. You always get the perfect amount of each flavor in your cup. My picture attached is a medium “Rainbow”, which is blue razz, cherry, and lemon. I especially enjoy their new recent option to order to-go. Worth every … penny!

I saw an add for penny lane and decided at 9pm to head out to Albany and boy was it absolutely delicious Italian ice! The young lady who served us was so sweet! Worth the drive from Schoharie for sure!

THIS IS JUST A GREAT PLACE AT AN UNEXPECTED FIND FOR ALBANY! Although I live in Guilderland given that this is a little bit off the beaten path, I have not been here. I love Italian ices and I love anything that brings a taste of New York City up here. Penny Lane checks both boxes. The owner/proprietor is a character and I was surprised to see him open on a freezing weekend day in February. He has a blackboard outside and probably has 20 or more different flavors which he will combine we wound up taking home a pint of mixed coconut and chocolate, a 1/2 pint of chocolate and cherry, and he gifted us a half pint of lime. All were wonderful! A bit on the expensive side I think but nice for a treat. I did buy a big quantity as above and it was $19. All the flavors were great. Will be back when the weather is fit for humans if not sooner. Let’s keep this guy in business! He and his products are great.
